PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
PUBLICATION POINT, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website Recipe Publication, located at the domain associated with this policy (the "Site"), along with related content, the recipe database, the kitchenware shop, and the membership program (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT:
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and payment details when you create an account, subscribe to a paid membership, place an order in the kitchenware shop, submit a comment, or contact customer support at info@in-publication.com. Payment card information is processed by our third-party payment processor and is not stored in full on our own servers.
We also collect information automatically when you use the Site, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring and exit pages, approximate location derived from IP address, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies, described in more detail in our Cookie Policy.
ADVERTISING AND THE BING ADS UET TAG:
We advertise the Services using Microsoft Advertising, commonly known as Bing Ads. To measure the effectiveness of that advertising and to build remarketing audiences, we have installed the Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking tag (the "UET tag") on pages throughout the Site. The UET tag is a small piece of code that runs in your browser when you visit the Site.
The UET tag collects information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages visited, actions taken on those pages (for example, viewing a recipe, adding a product to your cart, or completing a membership signup), and a unique browser identifier stored in a cookie. We use this information for conversion tracking, which lets us see when a visit that originated from a Bing Ads advertisement led to an action such as a purchase or signup, and for remarketing and audience building, which allows us to show you or similar users relevant ads on Bing, Microsoft-owned properties, and partner sites after you have visited the Site.
Microsoft Advertising may combine information collected through the UET tag with other data it holds about you as a Microsoft or Bing user, subject to Microsoft's own privacy practices. We do not control how Microsoft Advertising uses this data beyond the settings we configure for our own campaigns.
You can opt out of personalized advertising from Microsoft Advertising at any time through the Microsoft Advertising opt-out and preference resources available at https://about.ads.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/policies/personalized-ads. You can also manage cross-industry advertising preferences through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/ and through the Digital Advertising Alliance's consumer choice tool at https://youradchoices.com/. Opting out through these tools does not mean you will see fewer ads overall, but the ads you see should no longer be personalized based on the browsing data described above.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION:
We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the Services, process membership subscriptions and shop orders, provide customer support, send transactional and account-related communications, personalize recipe and product recommendations, measure and improve the performance of the Site, and run and measure advertising campaigns, including through Bing Ads as described above. Where you have opted in, we also use your email address to send newsletters and promotional messages, which you may unsubscribe from at any time using the link in those messages.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION:
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Services, including payment processors, email delivery providers, hosting providers, and analytics and advertising partners such as Microsoft Advertising. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of the Company or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information to third parties in the traditional sense of a data broker transaction.
DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY:
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS:
You may access, correct, or request deletion of certain account information by logging into your account or contacting us at info@in-publication.com. You may control cookies through your browser settings and through the advertising opt-out links listed above. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, and you may exercise those rights by contacting us using the information below.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY:
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
